Ideal production design and build strategy may be effected by preparing ‘3-D’ model detail fabrication assembly drawings into logical tasks on the MDI CAD/CAM system or ShipConstructortm for CNC processing, ensuring material control and fabrication fit-up. All processes in the MDI lofting system are approached and rationalized using principles from the classic art of lofting integrated with state of the art technique and equipment.
